What’s it about?

Essay Writing is a colourful and engaging course, which was produced exclusively for home-educators. It will explain to you all you need to know to be able to write essays that are cracking on any topic. I don’t assume you have got any prior understanding of essay writing, so I’ll take you from the basics of sentence and paragraph structure, right the way in which right through to how to plan and write effective essays.

A range of typical essay styles are covered into the course, such as compare and contrast, analyse and explore and argue and discuss, together with an abundance of practical exercises and tutor feedback that is detailed.

You’ll essay writer find out about essay presentation, too, and there is even a section on how to write essays for exams. I’ll explain to you just how to write references as well (which can be important if you’re taking place to review at college) and you can find seven tutor marked assignments, as well as unlimited email and phone support.

That is this course for?

An essay is a longer piece of writing and is the conventional written form for all academic subjects. And it’s also hard to cope with any programme of academic study without having to be asked to create an essay sooner or later. When you yourself have always desired to know how to write a beneficial essay, this program is actually for you; it must help you to write an essay on just about any subject from GCSE level right as much as your first year in Further or maybe more Education.

It really is worth pointing out, however, you do not have to do the Essay writing course before you are doing the IGCSE English Language or Literature courses. Those courses include practice and instruction in the writing styles and formats for the people subjects (which are not always essays, funnily enough). Though the Essay course that is writing strengthen your skills in analysis, planning and writing of essays and also this could have a knock-on effect on how you think and write in other regions of life. Most students who use the course say they feel significantly more confident about writing as a whole.

As with all my courses for older students you can choose to make the course as downloadable pdf files or via a printed book. You will find 7 chapters covering all facets of essay writing and 7 tutor marked assignments that will help you practise your skills. As with all my courses there clearly was unlimited (within reason!) phone and email support.

How long does this course take?

It varies. Most students take around 8 months you could do so more quickly and take more time if you wish (there’s no time period limit on any of my courses).

What pace must I go at?

It’s important to go at your personal pace you are rushing the course, but nor should it be gathering dust on the shelf– you shouldn’t feel. You ought to be feeling comfortably challenged but having a good time (for the part that is most!).

Imagine if I get stuck?

Pick up the phone or email me – I am here to help! It is usually better to move on with the course and come back to it later if you have a block about a particular assignment.

May I type my assignments?

Unless you are very likely to get dispensation to type in an eventual exam (so that you have dyslexia or some other special requirement), I like assignments to be handwritten. We could all type more quickly than we could write so typing assignments gives an unrealistic expectation of what you will eventually produce when you look at the exam. I’m sure the Essay Writing isn’t an exam course, but handwriting is a motor skill so that it’s important to practise at each opportunity you get! You can find exceptions, though, so get in contact you are unsure with me if.

How about special requirements that are educational?

A good thing to do is pick the phone up and communicate with me and tell me the thing you need. Over the years We have helped students with a variety of special requirements caused by dyslexia, Aspergers as well as other physical or mental problems that get in the way of these capacity to do justice to themselves in English. I can’t promise that I’ll be able to help, but if I’m able to help, i am going to.
